A deposit of 20% is required for a firm booking and the balance must be paid at least two weeks before the start of your holiday. We strongly advise that you take out holiday cancellation insurance for your stay in case you have to cancel your holiday after you have paid your deposit/balance. Both the deposit and balance are non-refundable but in the event of cancellation, we will endeavor to re-let your dates and if successful return your payment less a £25 administration fee.
However, for the first time in over 25 years of letting out our cottages, we are also going to ask for a refundable damage deposit of £50 to be paid at the same time as the balance, for 2013 visitors with dogs. It is sad that two or three irresponsible dog owners who stayed last year can change our attitude but I also have to think of the ladies who clean and service the cottages for us. My only other option would have been not to allow dogs to stay which would be a great pity when the area is so good for dog walking.
Cheque, debit card and bank transfer payments are accepted. Please make cheques payable to Mrs. A. A. Wright.

Central heating, gas (Far End Cottage only) and electricity.
Wi-Fi is included at Far End Cottage for internet access, by prior arrangement.
Bed linen is provided. Towels are available by arrangement only.
A pay telephone is available in both cottages.
Pets are permitted by special arrangement only.
A large basket of logs is provided free of charge.
The cottages are both no smoking establishments.
